Phase II work on University Drive Extension
Phase II of the University Drive Extension reconstruction project will begin on Monday, May 8.
During this phase, the closed area of University Drive will extend from Park Avenue to just south of the intersection with Services Road. As a result, there will be no access to or from University Drive via the Dairy Barn Access Road.
Campus Shuttle service to all stops in this area will be maintained, but riders should expect brief delays at the Dairy Barn and Physical Plant stops, as shuttles will be required to take an alternate route to reach those locations. For real-time shuttle information, download the Rider app at http://psu.transloc.com.
Pollock Road construction near HUB
A section of Pollock Road near the HUB-Robeson Center will undergo reconstruction and repair work beginning Monday, May 8 through Friday, July 28.
Phase I work, which will include removal of brick and reinstallation of bituminous surface, will take place from Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 26, and will close Pollock Road from McAllister Building to the west entrance to Lot Brown C, located between Osmond and Davey labs.
During this time, all traffic traveling to points west of McAllister Building, including Old Main, will be required to access Pollock Road from the west end at Burrowes Road. All traffic traveling to points east of McAllister, including Lot Brown C and Lot Brown B, will be required to access Pollock Road from the east end at Shortlidge Road or Bigler Road. Access to Lots Brown C and B will be maintained via the driveway located between Boucke Building and Osmond Lab.

Impacts to Stadium West entrance area and adjacent parking
Work will begin on the redesign and rebuild of the Park Avenue entrance to the Stadium West parking area beginning Monday, May 8.
As part of this work, the 71-space paved lot and the 40-space gravel parking area near the entrance to Stadium West will be closed beginning Monday, May 8. Work will also begin that day to install a temporary Stadium West access point along Curtin Road near the westbound CATA bus stop. Once this installation is complete, the Stadium West entrance at Park Avenue will close and all traffic entering and exiting Stadium West will be required to use the temporary access point along Curtin Road. An update will be shared when this change is made.
When this work is complete, the redesigned entrance at Park Avenue will include new sidewalks, as well as a new visiting team bus area near Beaver Stadium. To accommodate this work, the gravel parking area near the lot entrance will be removed, but the paved area will reopen. The entire project is expected to conclude by Friday, July 28.
The Park Avenue entrance to Stadium West will reopen temporarily for 4th Fest and Happy Valley Jam in July.
While this work is underway, Commuter permit holders with a valid ADA placard or license plate will be authorized to park in ADA or regular, non-reserved spaces within the Orange A lots on the east and west ends of the Physical Plant building, including the ADA spaces within the Physical Plant visitor lot.

Nittany Deck to undergo five-year annual maintenance work
The five-year annual maintenance work at the Nittany Parking Deck will take place beginning Monday, May 8 through Friday, July 28.
This work will include cleaning, sealcoating, restriping and other general maintenance, and will result in approximately one level of parking being unavailable at any given time throughout the project. Parking staff will work to ensure the availability of parking for Green B permit holders and Nittany Lion Inn guests at all times, but general visitor parking may be limited during peak hours, as needed.
While much of the work will take place during evening hours, drivers are urged to watch throughout each day for work signage and changing traffic patterns with the deck.
Reduced lanes on Allen Road near Child Care Center
A section of Allen Road between the Hort Woods Child Care Center and Music Building II will be reduced to one-lane traffic beginning Monday, May 8 through Friday, July 28.
This lane reduction will allow crews to widen the roadway in this area, which will allow for the addition of a left turn lane into the Green H parking area. Minor modifications will also be made to Lot Green H, but they should not impact access to the lot. Flaggers will be in place each day to direct traffic through the work area.
