CATA announces revised Fall 2021 service, CATARIDE fare increase, and public hearing for 6/8

The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) has announced a revised list of proposed Fall 2021 service changes, as well as a proposed fare increase for CATARIDE service, which can be viewed on the CATA website.

The proposed changes would tentatively go into effect on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Public comment may be provided for any of the proposed changes to service by submitting them directly to the CATA website. Comments may also be submitted by attending a public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., emailing [email protected], or contacting CATA’s Customer Service Center at (814) 238-CATA(2282) during normal business hours.

CATA Public Hearing on Proposed Service Changes

CATA will hold a virtual WebEx public hearing to gather comments on proposed service changes on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration for this meeting is required.

Participants may register for the public hearing on the CATA website or by contacting CATA at [email protected] or (814) 238-CATA(2282) ext. 5131. An option to join the hearing by telephone is also available. If accommodations are needed for those with special needs related to language, sight, or hearing, please call or email at least five days prior to the hearing.
