Students wishing to return with a vehicle the week after Thanksgiving break are encouraged to purchase a permit before leaving campus for break.

Alternative transportation options include:

Zimride is a private ride-matching network that matches Penn state students, faculty and staff with other Penn Staters who are going the same way, making it easy to share the seats in your car or to find a ride. This private network allows drivers and passengers to create a free profile through their PSU Access ID to search for rides or to post their destination on a secure network. Zimride helps users split the cost of driving while also reducing vehicle emissions, traffic congestion, and fuel consumption.
