Spikes Baseball to impact evening/weekend Commuter lot access on select dates this summer
The State College Spikes will open their MLB Draft League home schedule versus the Williamsport Crosscutters at 6:35 p.m. tonight at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
The Spikes will host 33 additional home games at Medlar Field through Sunday, Sept. 1. Beginning approximately two hours prior to the start of each home game, Jordan East, Stadium West and Porter North will be reserved for Spikes baseball parking at a rate of $5 per vehicle. Vehicles with a valid Penn State faculty/staff or student parking permit will be permitted to park at Jordan East or Stadium West at no additional fee. Porter North will be reserved for Spikes parking only, including VIP parking.
ADA parking will be available at Porter North for vehicles with an ADA placard and a valid Penn State parking permit or payment of the $5 parking fee.
Penn State organizations who typically use or offer use of the Commuter lots for evening and/or weekend events to individuals who do not possess valid Penn State parking permits should contact Transportation Services to make advance arrangements for permits. Vehicles without a valid Penn State parking permit will be subject to the $5 event fee, regardless of their event or circumstance.
Those wishing to park at Porter North will need to access the lot by entering Porter Road from Park Avenue to avoid the construction at the intersection of Porter Road and Curtin Road.
