Chris Robinson named new sustainable transportation program manager

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Chris Robinson has been named sustainable transportation program manager for Penn State Transportation Services, effective Aug. 7.

A Penn State graduate with a master's degree in public administration, Chris most recently served as administrative support coordinator for the Transportation Services Office, where he was responsible for employee onboarding and training, leading parking-related projects such as the launch of virtual parking permits and collaborating with various parking-related teams to ensure consistent and efficient operations.

Chris succeeds Cecily Zhu, who served as the inaugural sustainable transportation program manager from 2015 until January 2025 before leaving the University to become sustainability manager at Pittsburgh International Airport.
