Student Motorcycles

Motorcycle storage parking for students

Students who wish to store both a vehicle and motorcycle on campus must register online for a student parking permit and visit the Parking Office to purchase a motorcycle-only permit. Students who wish to store only a motorcycle on campus may purchase just the annual motorcycle-only permit. The cost of the student motorcycle-only permit is $60 per year.

Motorcycles associated with student motorcycle-only permits will only have access to motorcycle spaces located in the following parking areas:

Display of the student motorcycle-only permit is not required.

After 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays, motorcycles registered with a valid student motorcycle-only permit also have access to motorcycle spaces in faculty/staff lots highlighted in yellow and marked with a motorcycle icon on the student parking map, with the exception of the East, HUB and Nittany decks.

Commuter student motorcycle parking

Students commuting from off-campus who wish to park a motorcycle on campus must register online for a student parking permit and have the motorcycle registered for use with the permit. Motorcycle-only permits for commuting students will no longer be available.

Once registered, display of the permit is not required on the motorcycle, but only one vehicle or motorcycle associated with a permit may be parked on campus at any given time.

Motorcycles registered with a valid student Commuter permit will have access to motorcycle or vehicle spaces only in the Commuter lots (Jordan East, Stadium West, Porter North).

After 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays, motorcycles registered with a valid student Commuter permit have access to motorcycle or vehicle spaces in faculty/staff lots highlighted in yellow on the student parking map, with the exception of the East, HUB and Nittany decks.

Please note that motorcycle parking is prohibited in gated parking facilities (East Deck, HUB Deck, Nittany Deck).
