UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State students, faculty and staff, as well as local community members ages 18 and older, are encouraged to attend a free Brake Clinic from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Bike Den.

Participants will learn to identify, install, and adjust various bicycle brake calipers (and their corresponding levers) including disc (cable and hydraulic), side pull, cantilever, and V-brakes. Several examples will be present, and participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes for maintenance.   

Preregistration is required by Monday, Sept. 22 for each event and can be done online at the Transportation Services website.
