Post a winter break ride on RideOn for a chance to win LionCash

Transportation Services is reminding Penn State students, faculty, and staff that they can share and find rides for winter break travel by using RideOn, a free ride-matching platform.

Drivers can earn money to cover travel expenses like gas and toll fees by posting on RideOn to fill extra seats in their vehicles with Penn Staters looking for a ride to similar destinations. Those looking for a ride can post or search on RideOn to match with drivers traveling to the same area as them.

Post a trip on RideOn between Friday, Dec. 13 and Monday, Jan. 13 for a chance to win one of ten $50 LionCash prizes.

To get started: 

• Download the Penn State RideOn mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or visit rideon.psu.edu.  
• Use your Penn State credentials to sign in. 
• Create a Trip Profile from the side menu. 
• From the dashboard, post a carpool or search for ride options.
