Penn State Transportation Services announces fall 2026 service changes

Penn State Transportation Services is rolling out a series of updates ahead of the fall 2026 semester, including shuttle route changes, an expanded hospital transportation option, new Lyft ride credits, a parking transition at Innovation Park, and broader access to RIDEpass for graduate students.

Fall 2026 sports parking information

Pre-paid parking options are available on ParkWhiz and day-of parking options are available through HONK or in-lot pay stations.

Fall 2026 student arrival parking, traffic, and transit changes

All core student resident parking lots (Lot 22 (Eastview Terrace), Lot 42 (Nittany Apartments), Lot 81 (South/Pollock Halls), and Lot 82 (East Halls)) will be reserved for 30-minute unloading beginning Sunday night, Aug. 16.

Workshop instructors will share tips to keep cyclists safe and bikes in working order during seasonal rain. As this is an indoor, classroom-style workshop, a bicycle will not be required for participation.
