Wheelchairs, Car Seats, and Strollers on Campus Shuttles

Wheelchair Lift Usage

For passenger safety, the combined weight of each Campus Shuttle passenger and their wheelchair cannot exceed 800 lbs.

Car Seats

If you are bringing small children or infants with you on the bus, you may bring a car seat for them to use. You must restrain the car seat using the seatbelts provided in the vehicle. The driver will not be responsible for restraining the car seat.

Strollers

Children must be removed from strollers, and the shuttle chair lift cannot be used to lift strollers into the shuttle. Strollers must be able to be collapsed and fit between the seats of the bus or secured by the driver. Strollers may not be placed in the aisle or next to the wheelchair lift.
