Parking options for groups hosting an event on campus.
Parking Information
Organizations holding an event on-campus and looking to provide a parking option for their visitors can explore the options listed below. Each option provides a solution that is suited for different types of events and have various location options. Use the Visitor & Event Parking Request Form which is located below the parking solutions at least five business days ahead of your event to ensure the easiest experience for your visitors.
Validation Coupons
Physical coupons can be distributed by the host to validate visitor parking. Dollar amount or all-day validations coupons are available. Coupons will be designed with the host or event name as well as brief usage instructions. The visitor first scans the ticket they pulled to enter the deck, followed by the coupon, at the exit gate.
This option is ideal for one-day events or one-off visitors.
Payment Information
Pre-pay to keep on hand or be billed on usage after an event. The rate per coupon is equivalent to the dollar amount the coupon is designed to validate.

Note: Validation Coupons do not guarantee access to the gated parking decks when visitor parking has reached capacity.
VIS Zone Reservations
Transportation Services provides the host with a QR code powered by HONK and brief instructions to present to visitors upon arriving at the event. The visitor scans the QR with their mobile device, enters their license plate, and begins a parking reservation. Account creation is not required.
This option is ideal for one-day events or one-off visitors.
Payment Information
Transportation Services can provide the host with a promo code to validate visitors’ reservation cost. Monthly auto-payment can be set up for on-hand usage, or be billed on usage after an event. Invoices are provided reflecting the number of uses and dollar amount validated. Without a promo code applied, the fees can be made the responsibility of the visitors and is required at check out. Honk requires an additional $0.35 transaction fee.

Virtual Conference Permit
Transportation Services provides the host with an event-specific permit link with brief instructions to email visitors. Once they arrive at the Parking Portal, they are required to create an account, add their vehicle information, and download the permit.
This option is ideal for private or multi-day events.
Payment Information
The host can be billed on usage post-event based on the usage. The permit will appear as $0 to the customer in the permit link. Alternatively, the fees can be made the responsibility of the visitors. The amount due will be reflected in the permit link and payment is required at check out.

ParkMobile Reservations
Transportation Services provides the host with a ParkMobile link with brief instructions to email visitors. Once they arrive at ParkMobile, the visitor adds their license plate number and checks out. Account creation is not required.
This option is ideal for public or private events.
Payment Information
Transportation Services can provide the host with an access code to validate visitors’ reservation cost. The host is billed on usage after an event. An invoice is provided reflecting the number of uses and dollar amount validated. Without an access code applied, the cost is the responsibility of the visitors.
