Cyclists, Others Traveling Across Campus Urged to Be Predictable, Visible
As the number of cyclists and others traveling across Penn State campuses continues to grow, University Police and Public Safety (UPPS), Transportation Services, and the University as a whole remain committed to the safety of all, regardless of their means of travel.
Amber Quimby named new Associate Director for Transportation Services
Quimby will focus on the Fleet Operations side of the department and work to improve the processes and effectiveness of every vehicle in the University Fleet.
New Community/Visitor parking permit available for purchase starting Jan. 2
The Community/Visitor permit will be available to local community members and frequent campus visitors.
Additional payment method available at the on-campus gated parking decks
Customers will have the ability to pay on their phone for parking when they return to their vehicle before exiting.
Reduced-cost faculty and staff daily parking pilot program to launch at University Park
The new parking option will offer an alternative to a monthly parking permit for remote and hybrid employees by using available space in the parking areas already overallocated for permits but consistently have unused parking spaces.
Transportation Services announces real-time parking deck capacity website
The site provides information for visitors and non-deck permit holders about the availability of visitor parking at the East, HUB, Nittany, and West decks.
University Park employee, student parking rates announced for the next three years through 2026-2027
New rates will continue to support campus parking infrastructure and transportation-related programs and services.
Spring 2024 Commencement parking information
Parking options will be available at various locations based on where commencement ceremonies are being held.
Additional YAS-West Deck student parking permits on sale Monday, April 8
These permits are available to all students and will cost $56.42 for the rest of the spring semester.
Return to Rec Hall parking and entry information
Free parking is available at Eisenhower Deck with complementary shuttle service to and from Rec Hall for both games.
