Overnight/Weekend Event Parking

Overnight Parking

Visitors in need of overnight parking on campus should park at the East, HUB or Nittany parking decks, where visitor parking is available at the rate of $1 per hour ($12 daily maximum fee). Payment is required for time parked in these facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If overnight parking is needed for more than five consecutive days, visitors must go to the Transportation Services Office to purchase a long-term permit. The office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Weekend Event Parking

Penn State Football weekends and other select event weekends (such as Central PA Arts Fest) have special parking requirements as outlined below:

- Visitors arriving prior to Saturday of a designated event weekend must park at the at the East, HUB or Nittany decks and pay the standard visitor parking rate ($1 per hour/$12 daily maximum fee). $30 weekend permits valid only for Lot Red A at West Campus are also available on Friday at the White Course Drive kiosk. Overnight visitor parking is prohibited in all other parking areas.

- Visitors arriving on Saturday may park at the East, Eisenhower, HUB, or Nittany decks at the event day rate of $25 or at Lot Red A at West Campus for $15. Parking is permitted through 6 p.m. Sunday.

On designated event weekends, Commonwealth Campus student parking permits are not valid for overnight parking. Students arriving on campus for the weekend on Friday must park at the East, HUB or Nittany decks and pay the standard rate.

Please not that fine amounts are increased for parking violations issued on weekends.
